The Sherpani Rumba Superlight child carrier is sturdy enough for day hikes yet easy enough to use for trips to the market or summer festivals.

  • Fully padded bucket seat and sides; seat is fully adjustable to raise or lower child for your comfort and to his/her ability to see
  • 5-point chest plate has a soft foam harness that supports child securely with 5 fasteners, 3 that unbuckle for loading/unloading
  • Foot stirrups let child balance him/herself in the pack or sit upright after slouching over to one side; stirrups are removable
  • Carrier frame is made from a tubular aluminum bar that increases stability when sitting on ground
  • Large mesh back pocket and zippered lower compartment tote toys and essentials
  • Sewn-in shoulder harness and 1-size waistbelt accommodate parents of similar size
  • Manufacturer recommends child weight not to exceed 50 lbs., with total load (including child) not to exceed 55 lbs.
  • Comes with the Topper sunshade/raincover to protect your little one from the elements and small overhead branches
  • When not in use, Topper stores in bottom pocket against the back of carrier
  • Constructed of ultralight nylon fabric with ballistic nylon reinforcements for durability

    Requirements for your child:
  • Your child must be capable of holding his/her head upright and sitting up by him/herself. Usually a child older than 6 months is able to do this. It is a good idea to ask your pediatrician if your child is ready to ride in a child carrier.
