Comments about Marmot Afterburner Fleece Jacket - Men's - '08 Closeout:
I'm always hesitant about buying shirts or jackets online because what one company may consider a Small to another company is a Large. Case in point, I'm 6' 175 lbs, and the North Face Denali jacket that "fit" me best was a Small. Even then it had too many zippers and wasn't comfortable under the arms. So I tried my luck with the Marmot Afterburner. I'm glad I did.I bought the Medium and the cut is fantastic - the arms are just long enough, the shoulders fit perfectly, and it's not so long that it hangs past my butt. (If anything it's cut a bit short, which I find stylish.) It's not a straightforward fleece; the material feels hardier, and it's certainly wind-resistant.It's a pretty stylish jacket, but for the price[...]I thought it far surpassed the NF Denali I tried on at the store. If all Marmot jackets/shirts fit like this I think Marmot has gained a customer for life.

Great value. Excellent multi use piece. Good
protection from cooler fall winds when hiking.
Great for layering under a shell when doing
some cold weather flyfishing. I really like
this jacket
