Comments about Mountainsmith Messenger Bag - Small - '07 Closeout:
I have a small sized Timbuk2 and the Eagle Creek "Daily" messenger bag and I love my Mountainsmith more than both! It's small enough to use as an everyday bag (roomy purse for females and not too feminine for dudes) but roomy enough to carry all your urban gear. I'm a total geek and I have plenty of room for my iPod, PSP or GameBoy DS (or both), my 9" laptop, digital camera and assorted junk (keys, wallet, lip balm, pens...) If I'm not carrying my geek gear, then I can keep all my essentials and roll up a windbreaker or thin fleece into it. Lots of pockets to keep things organized, including exterior so you don't have to keep opening it. The velcro and buckle closure keep the main compartment secure.

Thisis a gret abag. The shoulder strap is like for a larger bag super padded (almost too much padding) the front flap has both a clip and a velcro panel underneath it so you dont need to worry about things falling out
buy this bag you will not be dissapointed, I bought this as an additonal bag to my everyday 10+ year old Eagle Creek Field style bag but now I think it has bene replace dwiht an updated version!

Comments about Mountainsmith Messenger Bag - Small - '07 Closeout:
There is a place for everything. Many compartments, zippers, etc. a spot for your water bottle (although it better not be a large one). Very light, and even when loaded it is comfortable to carry. Outstanding for travel. It will hold your camera, lunch etc. without being too big to lug around. Also, great for shopping, trips to the amusement park or casino. The padded side compartment for sunglasses or music player is a plus. You won't be disappointed.

Comments about Mountainsmith Messenger Bag - Small - '07 Closeout:
I agree with all other reviews. It's my daily work bag to carry my little devices, plus an occasional sandwich, water, paperwork, etc. Will hold letter size paper. I wear it messenger style while on my motorcycle, works fine. Carry handle seems undersized, but it keeps one from overloading the bag. Typical Mountainsmith high quality. Can't beat discount price.
