by fromDisappointed. Very disapointed. I need a boot that is waterproof and warm. First time wearing these in the snow I was astonished that my socks got wet and my feet cold. (Everyone told me to buy Sorels.) Where does the moisture come in from? Not true to size. Runs large.

by fromNOT WATERPROOF OR WARM ENOUGH I bought these boots prior to moving to Crested Butte, Colorado and quickly learned in the 15 degree weather that they were not warm! My toes are litterally freezing even though I have thick merino wool socks on. Also, the stitching between the rubber toe and the upper leaks allowing freezing water into my shoes where it soaks my already cold toes. Sorel will try and explain that they are "water resistant" not "waterproof." The whole "water resistant" feature is just dumb because if you are planning on wearing these in snow they WILL leak.

by fromDon't buy I bought this boot to use in the snow at work. One issue I had was I couldn't really get the boot tight enough. My foot would slide around (giving me blisters on long walks), and the smaller shoe size was too tight. also, when I wore the boot in snow, my toes would feel like they were about to freeze off. I actually took off my boots at that point and put on my water resistant keens and felt better. I ended up returning them. They are warm long as you don't walk in the snow.

by fromNot bad but did not fit me Liked that the boots were lightweight, but ended up having to return them because they were not wide enough.

by fromJust what I was looking for... These boots were a last minute purchase for use in NY state when the weather was 0 degrees. We went snow tubing and my feet were perfectly warm and comfortable. I just wish the boots were slip on or easy buckle instead of lace up. The laces DO hold well. Don't slip loose like many other types. They are serving well here in NC as well... lots of snow, sleet and rain this year.

by fromSo far, so good. I haven't had a chance to give these a real winter-weather test yet, but for walking around in near-freezing temperatures, they're great. They're soft, sturdy, comfortable, and a lot cuter and more feminine-looking than I expected them to be. I have no doubt that they'll keep me warm for this winter and many more to come. The only downside is that they do run rather large. I listened to the reviews and dropped down half a size, and even with my heaviest wool hiking socks, I have room to spare. The heels in particular are very loose, as is the case with a lot of winter boots, and the laces don't do much to secure them. This makes them feel rather heavy in addition to being bulky. But these are minor issues.

by fromToo bad... I was excited when I saw these boots, they look great and were comfortable and stylish. Problem is they run really narrow. I have to admit that my feet are on the wide side, but I have never tried on a pair that fit so snugly through the foot. Too bad.

by fromI would buy these again! Love these boots! They are so warm I can only wear them outside in the cold! I used them to hike in the snow on the local mountain and they worked great! The only bad thing about them was they were not waterproof. Not a biggie really cause I just used some waterproofing spray. Oh and I am kinda bummed cause now they are $40.00 cheaper than when I bought them 2 months ago.
