The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
For the international backpacking gourmet, the multi-fuel MSR DragonFly stove has the most adjustable flame of any liquid fuel burning stove.
Lightweight pump is easy to adjust and is durable
Pump features a poppet valve so it won't leak when you remove it from the stove after cooking
2 control valves: 1 to regulate gas flow and another to dial-in a precise flame
Burns almost any fuel, including white gas, kerosene, diesel, automotive gas, aviation gas, stoddard solvent and naphtha
Field-maintainable stove stays clog-free thanks to its self-cleaning jet
Legs spring open for ease of use and fold compactly for storage—fits inside MSR cook sets, sold separately
Comes with windscreen, heat reflector, fuel pump and stuff sack; windscreen is designed to accommodate cookware up to 10 in. in diameter
MSR DragonFly backpacking stove requires MSR fuel bottle for operation, sold separately
Weight of liquid fuel stove includes only stove and fuel pump
Runs on white gas, kerosene, jet fuel and unleaded automobile fuel. Please note: automobile fuel will clog the stove much quicker than the other fuels and should only be used if other fuels are not available. We cannot ship fuel-burning products to addresses in Japan or South Korea.
Please note: MSR products can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

Rated5out of5byMatt (climb, ski, hike)frombest all around stoveI have used a lot of stoves in the last 15 years and this is by far the best one I have used. It doesn't matter what time of year it is, this stove rocks and boils water. I use it often in winter camping and group camping. In winter camping you need to melt a lot of snow and boil water and this is only stove I'll take winter camping.

Rated5out of5bymalapascuafrom13 year long term useI bought my first Dragonfly in early 2001 and I have used it plenty of times since. I used it in the dessert,in 10 below temperatures and in altitudes above 13.00 feet one statement sums it up "it just works" any where any weather it just worked all the time.
Coolest thing I have doen is I had friends invited for a 5 pound salmon cook over for dinner and my kitchen stove broke so I used the dragonfly to cook the fish and it worked!!
After 13 years of constant use ( I use my stove for weeks two times daily on my trips plus regular car camping in the summer) It broke literally in half. The burner part separated from the base, the pump (old style) developed a stress fracture in the plastic housing. I guess that the nut was tightened too much by the factory and cracked the plastic over time, unfortunately it developed a gas leak due to the crack. I rebuild the pump and changed all of the o-rings and it lasted a while longer. Since the stove and the pump needed major overhaul I send it to MSR hoping they would be able to fix my dragonfly instead they sent me a brand new pump and what seems a once used stove for free. MSR rocks and they stand behind their product period. I am so happy bought this stove and I am relieved that they really take good care of their customer. I do own more MSR products: Tent, water filter, Bladder, self inflating pads and more other small products.
MSR is the best!!

Rated5out of5byAvid HikerfromDefinitely the best stoveAfter owning several stoves i finally bought my first MSR choosing the Dragonfly. The stove is easy to adjust, lights easy, preheats quickly. Simply stated it works. There were a lot of complaints regarding the pump being poorly designed and breaking easily. It seems this has been corrected because the pump for my model seems to be well built.

Rated5out of5byrangerbillfromMust Have!Must buy this stove. Just sipped fuel on a 6 day trip to the Quetico Park. Didn't even go through 30oz of fuel. Great temp control, compact and powerful. I would highly recommend the MSR Dragonfly for your next trip.

Rated4out of5byTake me to the riverfromGlad I bought this one!I have been using a whisperlite since the 80's. The whisperlite is great for boiling water but it burns things easy and will not simmer well. I broke down and bought the dragonfly this year and I am very pleased. It is very stable and simmers well. If you want to cook for a larger group or not burn the pancakes this is a great stove. If your just boiling water for freeze dried and coffee go with the whisperlite.

Rated5out of5byRed RiderfromVery Happy So FarThe first thing I did was to cook up some bread in my fry pan just to see how the temp control worked. It came out great but I must admit I sprang for the after market QuietStove flame damper. I haven't used it in cold weather yet but so far I love this stove.
