Sizing:

  • Small/Medium (14 - 17 in.) fits persons 5 ft. 3 in. to 5 ft. 10 in.
  • Large/X Large (18 - 21in.) fits persons 5 ft.10 in. to 6 ft. 4 in.
After an initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.     This bike is great for cruising anywhere. I lowered the seat and my dad who does not ride that often took right off. I added a rack to the back and I ride down the road to the market, great gas milage. I like all bikes and picked this one up to fill a new niche. [...]

    My boyfriend listened to my concerns about buying a new bike. They were comfort, price and style. He found this bike. Although it's more of a "guy's" bike I found this to be the perfect bike for me. I really like the smooth riding, light weight and ease of shifting. I hadn't ridden for years and now I'm riding almost every day! I don't really think this bike is good for a long distance but it's great for short ones. The longest ride I've been on is 17+ miles. It was a nice one. The only fault is that the kick stand broke on me. I don't use it anyway but still I only had the bike for a week or so.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
