          It barely works and only if you understand the design flaw in it. The rivet being pushed out has to be aligned correctly on both sides of the tool or it won't work. The rivet has to go into a small hole on the other side of tool as it is pressed out and if it does not hit the hole exactly the rivet won't budge and you damage the chain. On most chain tools you only have to worry about one side. I thought it might be lightweight due to the use of plastic and good for carrying on the bike. Ironically at 90 grams it weighs more than an all steel cyclo chain tool at 83 grams. It is bigger too.

              The price is great, but I found this tool to be hard to use and a little ineffective. I previously had used the chain tool on my Topeak Alien II... I found the Topeak multitool to be much easier to use than this.

                Got out one link in a broken chain before the plastic cracked and became unable to hold tension. You might have better luck, you might not.

                      The tool is not stiff enough to adequately push out the chain pins. Most likely, you will end up ruining a few links.
