These mats worked well. They are easy to use individually or to attach to each other. They insulated us well from the ground when we camped on a night when it was only 28 degrees!
Great for resting, fits in the back of my jeep Patriot, easy to set up and put away.
I used these pads only a handful of times bcuz they both sprung air leaks very quickly. I did all the standard troubleshooting and patching and discovered a design flaw. The hard plastic around the air nozzle has a sharp edge that pokes a tiny hole in the material. Bcuz the hole is in a precarious spot with lots of bends and folds, it’s not easily repaired. I tried multiple times with multiple methods and the air still leaked.
These pads perform as advertised, self-inflating and maintaining their expanded dimensions under a load. The "Velcro" strips allow joining the two pads to each other, side-by-side, which helps two in a tent on uneven ground stay off each other. The pads roll up easily, and the included elastic bands and storage bags make packing out very easy. The quality of construction is excellent. These pads are certainly worth their modest cost.
Valves failed after the second use. Deflates in minutes after laying down.
This was a great value for our family camping trips. Easy to use and pack and provides good protection from the ground as part of our total sleep system.
They are heavy so I would recommend for car camping, hanging out in the back yard or other short trips. Not the comfiest or warmest but they pretty much get the job done.
