Hat
Great hat. Bought for my wife as a sun blocker. Good fit, crushable, looks better the more it’s worn.
Did not live up to expectations
Bought this for hikes and beers, after second hike the leather band appeared whitened and lack lustre. The design and confort is good but the it is not breathable sweat gets trapped inside and you can literally feel it dripping on your head. The eyewear concept on top is a very cool feature. I thought it was a top quality hat but was disappointed.
Sunblocker
This hat does the trick to keep the sun off sensitive skin, and accomplishes the task while looking good on the trail, on a neighborhood walk or working in the backyard.
Keeps sun off
It's a hat that helps keep sun away but it does have a plastic/sims look to it. It is more used for keeping the sun away compared to a fashionable hat.
Rugged, Practical, and Stylish
Bought this hat as a gift after having owned one for over two years and happy to report that the quality is still great! It's very durable; mine has survived being folded, crushed into a backpack, and used as a makeshift seat no problem. Plus, it just looks good! Only one thing to beware: tightening the adjustable strap causes the whole hat to scrunch up in the back. It's not really that bad as long as you don't tighten it too much, though.
Very pleased with blue version of hat, light weight, great for bright spring or fall outdoors wear. Actually wore the blue hat with suit on trip May 1st to White House Rose Garden and Pentagon Courtyard when I covered recognition of Army football team winning CinC Trophy A favorite hat, might order the tan version for summer time.
