Great daypack with fatal flaw

I have had this hydration pack for 6 months. The fatal flaw is that it leaks! I have had it leak at least 4 times in the 6 months I have owned it. It's very easy to not get the cap on correctly. It happens so often that I now do a leak test by laying the bag flay and/or upside down. The pack is currently in the dryer because it failed the leak test today (and I was very careful to be sure the cap was on correctly!). The pack is great otherwise. Comfortable with lots of pockets. It doesn't hold a ton of stuff but it's enough for a day pack.

One very annoying design flaw

Construction seams solid, only used it a few times and was constantly annoyed by strap connections coming loose. Poor design imho. Didn’t really like the pocket configurations as well.

This backpack is the best, super well designed.

This backpack is the best! I shopped for a long time to find a backpack that had two exterior straps for the outer pockets, in order to put hiking poles in those outer pockets. The interior of this backpack is also super well designed. The backpack feels heavy in the hand when the bladder is full, but as soon as you put it on your back the weight distribution of this pack is amazing. I took it out for the first time on a 10 mile bike ride and a 3 mile hike, and it felt like nothing on my back! The tube to the bladder is well positioned and easy to drink from. The mechanism is comfortable, it's a bite down and draw in, works great.

Very comfortable

It has been a long time since I bought a new backpack, and with a couple of long hikes in the mid future, I needed an upgrade.I've had this for a little more than a month now, and with one exception, I love it. The exception is all about how those yellow pull tabs seem to be everywhere, and are always in my way. There must be a better way to manage them! OK, I guess I can live with that. The pockets on this are convenient and secure, and I especially love the outside side pockets - they actually hold my folded down poles securely and neatly! hmmm...partly because one of those yellow straps helps hold them in :)

Best pack ever!

I recently upgraded to this pack and couldn't be happier with my choice. The 3L reservoir is a game-changer, especially on longer hikes. The bladder and mouthpiece don’t leak, and the hose is easily detachable for cleaning. The pack is very comfortable and the adjustable chest and waist straps help to distribute weight evenly. The are also plenty of pockets and compartments which makes organizing gear a breeze. The materials and stitching are high quality, and it has held up really well on rugged trails. It has enhanced my outdoor hiking experience, and I wouldn't hit the trails without it.

Great pack

This is a well-designed backpack with lots of storage options and expandability while still overall being compact in size. Very comfortable. Good value. My only quibble is it would be nice if it could stand up

Solid Hydration Pack

solidly built, plenty of space for extras on the trail. I have not used this for an overnight trip, summer only, of course, but I can't wait to. Zippers are all top quality.

pretty amazing value

I’ve had this pack for a few years, out of the sale bin, and absolutely abused it. I primarily use this for mountain biking but have used it for a little of everything activity related like hiking, paddling, running. It’s been soaked I sweat until it’s stiff from summer mountain biking and washed in the shower and washing machine. I did break a clip, though it still works, but it took catching a limb at 15-25mph by the top handle loop and ripping me off the bike to break it.
