Breathable lightweight cap
I have really enjoyed running with this cap. Its super light I don't even realise it's on my head. It's captures all my sweat so when I'm running it doesn't affect my vision.
Loving it
I really Love it! Need more like this.
Good fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s nice and fits my head well, but the elastic band is unnecessary and will eventually degrade long before the rest of the hat. It would be more sustainable and more secure without elastic.
Love the size
At 4 ft 11 I am a petite person including my head. The last brooks hat I bought was a MCM hat because the reviews complained about how small it was. I loved the fit but did not love all of the questions about the marathon that I did run but back in 2010. I was so happy that this hat was offered in sizes. I got the s/m which is the best fitting hat that i have ever owned. Please keep offering hat sizes.
The hat is snug, lightweight and the breathable material makes for a great fit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A snug fit, lightweight, and breathable material make it barely noticeable on your head. Keeps the sun away while walking or running, and as a bonus keeps the sweat from dripping into your eyes.
Perfect replacement for Sherpa hats
I loved Sherpa hats and was regularly buying those until they went extinct and I was sad that Brooks did not come up with a good replacement for those. The Base hat was okay but did not live up to the expectation. However, these Journey hats reminded me of Sherpa again. Fully recommend for long-distance running.
Good and plenty
I like that it is lightweight and flexible, with an easily-adjustable sizing strap in the back. What I don't like is that it is huge. I have a relatively large head with a lot of thick hair, so I ordered the L/XL rather than the S/M, but I am swimming in this hat. It is so deep that it pushes my ears down.
Lightweight and washable
Such a good hat that i wear it every run. Lightweight, breathable and washable. I got the white version which is still white (only 2 months in so cant say this is a long term test). Fits my large noggin (or head if you prefer) much better than many other hats (better than 2xu!).
Pretty Good Hat
The hat produces an odd feel as wind goes through the mesh; the top of the hat "flutters" and produces an unpleasant sensation on one's scalp. While the hat has decent perspiration absorbing properties under many circumstances, it does not up to that task on humid days.
I like the hat, but it is two small for my head. My wife is going to extend the crown adjustment by and inch and then it should hopefully fit. I wish hat manufacturers would build in longer adjustment straps. I mean how much can it cost to make the strap a little longer?
