Works for rock climbing
I was searching for socks that would work inside of climbing shoes. It's a tricky thing to find, and these socks are perfect. There's no extra fabric or bulk anywhere; they fit like a second, barely cushion-y skin. They wick moisture so there's no shifting around inside my shoes as my feet sweat, which is what happened with cotton and other synthetic blend socks. I don't think I lose anything in terms of grip and preciseness vs. climbing barefoot inside my shoes. A word of caution--wash cold and air dry. They're prone to shrinking.
I LOVE these socks
I usually wear slightly taller socks because the no-show socks are always uncomfortable and slide down. I tried these on sale, and my life changed. These socks are SO comfortable, and they never slide down! I only wear merino-blend name brand socks, so it's not like my past experience was with cheapos. Plus, the light cushion on the bottom really help my feet be more comfortable after a long day of walking, even on the hottest days. I swear these are miracle socks. I think I own a dozen of them now--I hope Darn Tough never stops making them!

These socks are so comfortable. Love the quality of them, I wish they made them in more colors. Love wearing them with my sneakers for a low profile, no show look. They are thicker than your average sock so they may make your shoe feel tighter depending on the fit. These are also the best for walking around the house, so comfortable.

perfect for trail runs in summer
These are thicker than my max cushion Feetures socks, so I thought my feet might get sweaty on an 80 degree long run, but not at all! Highly recommend.
Love the extra cushion
I have several different versions (both mens and womens) of these socks and these are my favorite. The tab stops your trail runners from eating your socks and the extra cushion is really nice on longer hikes and runs.
Runs small, pills easily.
Runs small. I am a size 5.5-6 and ordered a size M in these socks. They feel very tight, especially around the ankles. I have also found the material pills easily. I realize some pilling will happen, and these light colored socks show it more. However, after one wash there was quite a lot. I take care when washing my clothes and this still happened. I will avoid this brand in the future.
Best socks
Bought these socks for an upcoming hiking trip. Have wore them on few home hikes and to work in. Very comfortable. They do not smell! I wore them for 2 days without washing them and no smell.
Great socks
These are supportive socks that stay in place all day. I usually wear socks with no padding, but the padding is slight.
