Comfy, durable socks
I have feet that get cold and painful in the winter. Wool socks are about the only thing that keep them warm and on cold days I need to double up. I was looking for durable wool socks that are also thin. I've had a few SmartWool socks in the past and while warm and cute, they fell apart quickly. So far, these have held up to regular wear and washing and still look pretty new. I have about 4 other pairs and all seem to be performing the same. The REI guarantee and the product guarantee make these worth a shot.

I bought a pair last year and love them so much that I decided to buy more but my size seems to always be out of stock. I have other Darn Tough socks but these are by far my favorite. They are light, yet warm. I wear them with boots, sneakers, shoes and they hold up great. No seams means superior comfort. I have bunions so light socks are important to me. Less bulk means fewer issues for me. I

I bought a pair of these socks last year and loved them so much I bought another. They are really cute and very comfortable. They are of a lighter weight than other pairs of wool socks I have so they go well with both shoes and boots.
Not as expected
I bought these in store because they were slightly longer than the Smartwool. I liked that they were lightweight and soft. However, when I wore them they slid down and were extremely uncomfortable. I spent the entire time pulling them up above my heel again.

Nearly all wool and acylic fabrics irritate my skin, but Darn Tough's Merino socks do not. I'm wearing ordinary socks as liners. Finally, DT socks that keep my feet warm!

Love these thinner everyday socks! Love the playful design and the nice fit. While providing some warmth, they are not too warm. And without cushion, they easily fit into my shoes.
