Rugged and supportive belt with no metal pieces
I wear jeans or work pants most of the time. I'm flying more often than I used to and wanted a belt that I could wear while going through metal detectors to keep my pants up. The Arcade Atlas belt was too stretchy. This belt is micro-adjustable for the right fit, has just a little bit of give but not too much, and is wide enough to look right with jeans. I have no trouble getting it through belt loops to put it on. It does snag when taking it off, though. So it takes slightly more effort than a leather belt does. My second choice would have been a Bison Designs T-Lock 38mm belt, but REI only carries it in Dark Olive. Also, the Bison T-Lock belt doesn't have any give, and you have to adjust it every time you put it on. I liked the slight give and set-it-once adjustability of the Hardware belt better.

rugged yet flexible

originally purchased the Atlas Belt by Arcade (perfectly fine belt) then I read the review for the Hardware belt and had to give it a try. I returned the atlas and I’m glad I did. I needed a rugged and sturdy belt that wasn’t rigged and uncomfortable.the hardware provides flexibility while giving me strength and the ability to have more than just a belt around my waist. I’m 6’4” and 232 lbs. I had this belt adjusted to its very ends and it fits perfectly. Wish there were a couple more color options like grey but what colors they do offer work fine. Very happy with my purchase. This is my first belt in over a decade!

Burly Belt!

Probably my favorite Arcade belt! The Hardware is a little more burly and supportive than your typical Arcade belt. I found it better to clip accessories to as it didn't droop down with the extra weight. Worth it!

Big, sturdy, rough, and bulky

This is a sturdy belt for sure. The buckle is easy open and close and the belt will hold up any pants it meets. However, I was looking for a belt that does not stand out and breezes through the TSA pre-check line. This is not the one. The belt buckle is big and potruding. The belt material is tight nylon weave with a little bit of give. So good in the field, not so good in the airport.

Belt for All Seasons

The belt is more than a utility belt. It has a minimalist style that goes well with casual and dress pants.

good but limited

This is a very good belt. It is not so stretchy that your pants sag, but flexible enough that it is comfortable to wear. I might have given a five except for the problem that others have expressed. The male portion of the buckle doesn't fit through the belt loops of most of my pants. I had hoped it would be more versatile.

Sturdy, comfortable belt.

I have other Arcade belts but not the utility version like this one. They are all some of the most comfortable belts I have ever owned. Compared to the standard belts, this one sacrifices a little of the comfort but gains a more sturdy feel that doesn't stretch as much if your pants are loaded with dumbbells.

Very nice belt.

It is very nice that the belt has some stretch but not too much and the buckle fits through your belt loops. Also it is not metal so it should go through the airports without forcing me to remove my belt. It is a little expensive, compared to others, but it has all the features you need.
