Nice and warm

I am 5'8" and 160 and the large fit great, however I noticed as the day went on they got looser around the waist, I was able to tighten them up a bit with the side velcro, but not enough. When I tried the medium they were too tight across my midline. They were perfectly warm on my recent Austrian Ski adventure and complimented my jacket and ski boots perfectly. The length was just right and I liked the secure pockets.

Not comfortable to ski in

I bought these pants as they matched the Thermoball jacket (which I love by the way). However, while the pants look great they weren't comfortable to ski in. Its the liner which is uncomfortable because it kind of grips your legs and twists when you move. So while the shell looks like its loose, the inside is too close fitting. I ended up returning them.

Another great product from The North Face. Bought these last year at season's end anticipating our annual winter trip to Colorado at Christmas. Temos in Fort Collins and RMNP ranged from 2 to 34 degrees during our 9-day stay. Wore these pants while hiking Lorey State Park, snowshoeing outside Estes Park in RMNP and while sight-seeing via foot downtown. With a base layer underneath, these great fitting pants were warm, comfortable, and stylish. I only wish the fabric was not do noisey. Don't count on sneaking up on anyone with them on :)

Love these pants, but a little too high waisted for me

I'm 6', 145 lb with an athletic build & love that a quality brand like North Face make a true (at least 35") inseam & in a variety of fun colors. I tried both the small & medium in these pants. The small was too tight and the medium slightly too big but the waist can be adjusted. Biggest issue for me was the rise is too high (didn't measure but seemed like at least 10"). But I prefer to wear my pants on my hips and these sat at my waist which I def. don't like. Would be great if North face could include rise info in the sizing matrix and perhaps even comparisons to other fits. Only other snowboard pants we've found with a long inseam are the 686 Smarty & Burton's Women's Cargo pants, and while both Burton & 686 offer way cooler styling than North Face, they only come in black, grey or white.

Great Pant for a cold place

I use this product in Fairbanks Alaska. I bought these because they were the only ones in stock that were short and adequately insulated. The draw back is there is no leg Zippers of any kind full leg or boot. I wear a leg brace and for a full leg zippers are the best when wearing multiple layers. I had to buy the Relaxed fit to ensure easiest gear change. This would be my number one complaint about these pants. No boot or full leg zippers.

Perfect for the ski bunny!

Wore these pants to go skiing. They were perfect! I'm a size 4 pant and 5'11" and the size guide fit me at a medium and they fit perfectly. I also got the long length and they were not too long. I tend to freeze much easier than the average person and I stayed warm the entire time I was out. They were comfortable to move in and not constricting. I also got many compliments on the pants by friends and others I met. Very cute!

Great Product

Great product, very warm. Size was smaller than on size chart as previously owned pants were a different brand and based on the sizing chart it tells you which to buy based on brand as well. I had to exchange them for the next size up, but very happy with them now that they fit properly.

almost a great ski pant

These are really great ski pants, but the waist is just slightly too tight in my normal medium. I'm going to try a large, but I fear they may be too big in the seat and thigh. I wish the waist, though adjustable, allowed for just a little more room.

Pink pants make me a better skier!

I mainly bought these pants because of the color. I wanted a pair of pink ski pants to match a coat I own. Have worn them twice on the mountain on really cold days, and not only did they look good, they kept my legs warm and dry.

Warm, look great, almost perfect!

These feel like the perfect snow pants! Only slightly too tight for me on the waist (sad face). I'm usually a size 8 and the mediums were just a bit too snug on waistline but fit perfectly elsewhere. Bummed to have to return.
