I check annually for the 2016 version of this
I check this page every year or so just to see if Arc teryx has decided to make the very simple decision of producing the original version of this shirt again. If some people like the new one, keep it. However, there's clearly demand for the previous version. The version I bought in 2016... Yes, 10 years ago... is still one of best shirts I have ever purchased. And I still have an wear it. It's not in the best condition but the design, cut, stitching, fabric, metal buttons, and pocket design have stood there test of time. This is the only piece of clothing I have ever paid this much attention to following up on. But let's see if the people's choice is heard.
Skyline
This is my favorite business casual shirt. I own 6 of these including the original design (2011) with a chest zip pocket and metal snaps, and the previous version (2017) with the flap pocket and metal snaps. The current version is my favorite. The athletic fit and fabric are perfect and I prefer the minimal and lower profile zip pocket and plastic snaps. These shirts are versatile: durable, breathable, wrinkle free, lightweight, and easy to pack and travel with.
Where is the flap?
Really though, what would it take to lose the zipper, and to bring the button flap back? Is it only the U.S. that dislikes the zipper, are there really a huge market out there for the zipper? Everywhere I see, every site I see, says that folks prefer the flap...
Cool design!
My husband is NOT into clothing but found this shirt to be stylish and the fabric to be very comfortable. The snap closer was an added bonus for him! He hasn't used it yet so cannot say more.
Can’t makes sense of the changes
The old version was so much nicer. Own three of them and love them so much. The zipper looks cheap compared to the old flip pocket. Please bring back the old design. It’s my favorite shirt!
A shirt for all occasions
Just what I have been waiting for. A perfect shirt for adventure, business or casual occasions. Good in most climates warm or cold - humid or dry.
Ruined with a questionable redesign
They completely ruined the look of this shirt by adding a cheap looking zipper on the pocket. I can't believe they made such a bone-headed move
Great shirt!
Great shirt especially for travel. It fights wrinkles, is very comfortable and stretchy and looks great even after a long day of travel.
Great shirt
This is my go to shirt for trade shows, dinners, nights out. it’s an amazing product that always get compliments on how nice it is
Beautiful, soft shirt, no ironing needed!
Beautiful, comfortable quick dry shirt! I normally wear a size medium womens and the XS is a perfect fit.
