Works but you will still be wet.
I had one of these in my pack when I did something stupid. It kept me from freezing but in the morning I was wet from the condensation of my own sweat trapped inside. I have since paid more money for the breathable version. This WILL save your life. You just won't be as happy as if you spent the extra for a breathable one.
Small, compact, and great for a big guy like me
Remember: This is an "EMERGENCY" bivy, not your regular camping tent! I'm glad to have the XL with the extra space,it gives me more ability to roll around and keep heat in. I found the fabric to be durable and puncture-resistant. I will always have this in my gear.
Great Addition
Wanted to add an additional layer of protection to my hiking/backpacking pack. This is very small and very light. Should work great if ever needed.
