    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromInsulated comfort. Hard to roll It was super comfortable and isolated well. I tend to get cold even in summer weather and I didn't feel any cold ground air with this pad. Air rail didn't do much. I didn't feel like it made a difference. I'm 5'3" and the length was just enough for me. Pretty color. I had a lot of problems rolling it. The air rail trapped air that was hard to get out. Since the rail and pad are different thickness when deflated, I felt like I needed 4 hands to roll it. Two to old the main pad area and another two to keep the rails rolled. I gave it another try by folding the rails onto the pad when rolling, but they slip and I had an equally hard time keeping the rail portion lined up. I returned and will be getting more traditional rectangular pad.

by fromNice Cushion Nice pad, but if you are taller than 5'6" need to get the mens bag..wish REI would make a women's pad with all the women's bell and whistles for taller women, otherwise the bag is great. Rails keep me in place when i sleep and nice padding on the hips

by fromGreat choice for 5' 6 For a great number of years I avoided using sleeping pads as I saw it as another "glamping" item. However on several nights I found myself enjoying just the nearness of my partners pad. That combined with a number of sustained back and neck injuries lead me to reconsider my position over the years. I've been very happy with my decision to change my mind. This pad features the air rails of some of the lighter inflatables combined with a more durable core found in larger bulkier models. Still compacting down to a very manageable size while offering mid range protection from the cold ground below. I found it to be a great combination of assets. My only complaint is when on uneven terrain I can find myself sliding in the night as the sheer nature of my sleeping bag slides down it.

by fromcomfy and great for camping I like the air rails on this pad, they keep me from sliding off in the middle of the night. I only gave it four stars, though, because it does not easily self-inflate, it only gets part-way there despite the fact that I have always been careful to store it properly. Otherwise, very comfortable.

by fromgood price and quality The description says it is self-inflating but mine did not do that. I ended up inflating it on my own which was fine. It was as comfortable as it could be considering it was used for camping. I like how it is lightweight and provides some comfort, as well as a decent price.

by fromBig, comfy love I've taken this pad out backpacking several times and I really love it. Even though I'm a side sleeper (with a crummy shoulder and achy hips) air pads are way too bouncy for me. This pad is pretty thin but feels plush and warm. The side rails are like a snuggly embrace and keep me from squirming off in the night. The only thing holding me back from giving five stars is that this pad is in no way self-inflating. I have opened the valve hours before climbing into the tent for bed and the pad remains flat as a pancake, practically vacuumed out. The plus to this is that it's pretty easy to get all the air back out! Paired with the Sierra Designs Eleanor 19 bag I've had my best-ever nights in the backcountry!
