perfect multi-use fleece
This fleece is so comfortable and moves well. I take it out on climbs and it does not get in the way. It also has a flattering fit. I am 5'3 & 105lbs, the XS fit like a glove. Perfect for layering. I cannot say enough good things about this item. I own the graphite grey heather.
Great jacket, but innacurate colour for garnet heather
Very comfortable, warm and stylish. My only complaint is the colour. I ordered the Deep Garnet Heather. The colour is nothing like it shows on the website. On the website, the colour is a very light maroon with a dark red zipper and north face logo. The jacket I ordered is all dark red, basically the same colour as the zipper in the photo. I still like the colour, but the image is extremely misleading. The colour in the photo is so different that it couldn't possibly be an issue with my computer/phone screen. I am a bit disappointed because I was expecting something different from what I got, but still a very nice jacket.
best clothing i have ever purchased
i always seem to be too cold for a tshirt and too warm for a jacket or sweater . This quarter zip glacier pullover is the perfect solution. I purchased a grey one about 4 months ago . After wearing it for an extensive period of time , I noticed that it didnt pill , shrink, fade or lose its shape. I was so impressed with the comfort but complimentary fit that i purchased another one. I already have this as the first item on my gift list. It is a product that i can use for years to come ...so i decided i needed to order it in different colors. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Thanks for such a great product. This company stands for quality.
Great light-weight pullover
I was looking for a simple fleece pullover. The NF Glacier 1/4 zip top is perfect. I can layer it under a (wind-proof) shell because it isn't bulky, and it works fine indoors as something cozy to pull on. It IS fitted but more of a "tapered" way--I wear a size 4-6, & I am very happy with size small in "Prussian Blue" (nice color).
My Favorite Top
I live in two climates - Houston TX and Bainbridge Island WA. This is what I wear almot daily on Bainbridge (except in the heat of the summer.) The house is old and drafty and this top lets me be comfortable without turning on the heat in spring and fall. The fabric is much higher quality than the other "name brand" fleeces that I own....I'm in my 70's and not small...(2XL)...I now own 3 of these and would buy more if there were more colors that appealed to me....sage, grey-blue etc...a bit more subtle. I rarely need a jacket....these seem to transition nicely in and out when the temp is as low as 50 degrees Will bring one back to Houston for chilly winter days.
Just as expected
I purchased this fleece because I needed to add some layers to work outside with horses during the Winter months in Colorado. This was just what I was looking for. It's light weight yet very warm. It works great with my Mountain Hardwear jacket in 20 degree temps. It is also easy to clean.
Exactly what I wanted! Just a tad small..
I've always wanted one of these sweaters since I was in high school! I chose a small because that is my normal size. However, I would size up one size. I can wear the sweater alone or with a light tank or t-shirt underneath. Long sleeved shirts, even thin, are difficult to wear under the sweater. It kind of rides up at the bottom and the sleeves. I would've returned it for a larger size, but the shipping took a little longer than I wanted and they don't carry this top in stores. I'm still wearing it, but I'd feel more comfortable with a medium. I'm happy to buy another one because it's a great top, either way :)
Soft, comfortable, great colors
This is the most luxuriously soft and snugly warm fleece! The grey stone blue color is flattering, goes with all of my pants, and has a fun red pink detail when the collar is partially zipped. Adorable and flattering.
The collar is uncomfortable.
I was a little disappointed when I received this; I was looking for a long-sleeve shirt and this is more of a sweatshirt. I've worn it twice now and have noticed that the collar is uncomfortable if I zip it all the way up. I have to leave it unzipped a little. The top also runs small. I'm 34D chest and the medium is a little tight on me. The sleeves are just barely long enough. If you have long arms, you won't like this top. If you are in between sizes, choose the larger size.
Cozy
I will be wearing this hiking this weekend, but so far wearing it around the house has kept me warm without over heating! I'm excited to see what it does in the wilderness
