Comments about Burley D'lite Bike Trailer:

This review is of the new 2013 model. It appears Burley looked at all of the critiques of the previous model (item # 798370) and not only fixed them, but improved them greatly. I will forego all the already mentioned great features and just focus on the improvements.

There is a real metal spring suspension that has 5 levels of adjustment (not elastomer/plastic). I have not tried different weights yet to see if there is a difference, but the suspension is easily adjusted.

Assembly is super easy, done in seconds, and can be done with one hand.

The common complaint that items keep rolling to the front from the rear storage has been addressed by closing off the rear compartment. The rear compartment is 35L and holds a ton of stuff!

The seating has been made more rigid, so there is no longer the same hammock effect. The longest I have had my daughter (2yrs) in the trailer has been an hour, with no problems. We will try longer trips and see how they go.

The weather flaps have been greatly improved, and have much easier latches. It looks and feels much more durable. I checked the areas mentioned where there could be wear and punctures in the fabric, and they don't seem to look problematic.

I've only had it for a week, so this is an out of the box review with a few test runs. But from what I have seen it is a vast improvement on an already great trailer. I will try to give some long term reviews over the summer.
