by Colorado NativefromWonderful if they were durableI'm a big person (220lbs 6'3") and needed some good cushioning. These shoes were perfect for that. The were great for my knees and helped me run farther. They have to be the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. They are light too, especially for the thick cushioning.
I would have absolutely loved these shoes if it hadn't been for their durability problems. The sides of the shoes began to wear holes in the first 60 miles of running. I wasn't striking my feet together there during runs or anything. The material just failed near the ball of my foot. In only 60 miles of running! Only three weeks of use for me, during my lighter running weeks and I only used them for running on sidewalks and road. The image attached shows the wear after 72 miles.
For the price a shoe just cannot wear out that fast.

by Long distancefromNeeds improvementsI'm normally a Hoka fan. But this shoe needs a number of revisions. Most concerning, this shoe is not very durable. The sticky rubber outsole isn't very durable on roads and paved trails. To make matters worse, the individual lugs positioned on the heal and toes are pretty small, meaning they wear off very quickly. Most road shoes have larger rubber pads instead of individual lugs in these areas to address this problem. A couple of other smaller issues include the annoying pull-on strap that rubs against my achilles, and no reflective material on the back of the shoe when running at night. The shoe also runs a little narrow. Again I'm normally a fan of Hokas, but this one needs some improvements. It might be a better trail shoe.

by davecockmanfromAwesome shoesGreat shoe. They have made a real difference in resolving chronic knee pain issues. When you first put them on, you will feel like you are wearing some sort of moon shoes, because they are so bouncy and cushioned. The only 2 bads things I have to say about them, is that they run a little narrow in size, and they do wear out a little faster than my other shoes.

by Rob the runnerfromGreat Shoes!!!I love these shoes. These are my third pair of Bondi B's. I have never had a shoe that is so easy on my body. Absolutely great for runners that want to cushion the impact on their feet, knees, back...etc.

by trikonafromWow...These are Great!!!These shoes (and other Hoka models)are Great!! I have had one pair about 1 year and thinking about replacing them now...These shoes wore great for me!! I have used them on dirt/jeep trails that weren't too rutted and relatively flat and they do great. The main use for these shoes for me is pavement. I have 3 pair of Hokas now including Hoka Evo Stinson for agressive trails/rocky terrain. So much comfort and lightweight. I even use them for backpacking with moderate loads.

by Aging in StridefromMy feet love 'emI run for exercise, usually 20-25 miles a week. Not very fast (and not trying to be), but i run half marathons occasionally for motivation and finish just over 2 hours. My usual longer runs are 5-6 miles, and my feet usually feel tired the next day. Tried these Hokas for extra cushion because my feet felt tired if i went over 5 miles, and I must say they make a real difference: my feet never complain. Only had them for a month now, but runs of 8+ miles are noticeably easier--not faster, mind you, but no foot fatigue afterwards. Great for walking, standing or running. I wear a half-size larger than my usual New Balance size. I like them so much that I already bought a second pair.
