    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromGood commuter option I wanted a shoe that's comfortable to walk-in but could still clip into pedals & this fit the bill quite well. It's got a soft sole so you can walk normally and is both light weight and breathable. My only complaint (and the reason it's not 5 stars) is that the cleat isn't quite recessed enough (seems like none of the commuter shoes are) so it rubs the ground on anything other than a perfectly smooth surface. I wouldn't use them for longer rides (anything over 10-15 miles) but they're perfect for my short commute.

by fromGreat Shoes! Very comfortable and lightweight with good flex for walking and stiff enough for riding. Only had them a short time but so far so good!

by fromGood walk/bike combo, try them first My Shimano MT are getting old with the soles worn out (cleats exposed to the ground) so I need another pair. I tried these on and they walk a lot easier (flex and cushion) and good traction on the street (not necessarily for hiking though). They flex a lot better for walking than the mountain biking shoes. Although still stiff enough for cycling, they're less efficient. That's fine since these are for walking and biking combo. Once thing I noticed is that I am size 10.5 and it seems a size too big. It looks like I'll need a size 44 or even 43. I was surprised that the first review said that he is size 10.5 and 45 fits perfectly. This is why I highly recommend you try these shoes on first. Don't just take my word for it.

by fromSo far so good I purchased these shoes because I needed a good SPD shoe that I could also walk in. My commute involves a ferry and I was sick of walking on and off the boat in stiff mountain biking shoes. These definitely do the trick. They ride well and walk well and look casual. I was somewhat concerned about riding in a laced shoe, but the little loop you tuck the laces into works well. I wear a 10.5 men's and purchased the 45 and they fit just fine. These don't seem to run small like so many others. I have had these for several weeks with no complaints. I also took them off road on my mountain bike recently and they performed well.

by fromComfortable commute shoes Although it took a little getting used to riding in a lace up cycling shoe, I barely notice them anymore while riding. They are pretty comfortable both on and off a bike. Only drawback is that the clips still clack around a little when walking on cement, but otherwise, they are great commute shoes.
