Very useful; we use one side of table top for food prep or serving, the other holds the grill. The Camp Chef Everest 2 fits on larger top. There are two sturdy wire shelves for pots/pans, etc. and the third shelf is made of netting for drying of cookware (a previous reviewer didn't get this) A nice clip for a camp light (small to medium size) comes on the vertical pole, you can buy more clips for pans, pots, towels. On one side it has a handy wire frame for a trash bag (Simple human 30 litre can liners fits perfect) Two of the legs adjust for uneven ground. It comes with a nice carrying bag. I used a short bungee cord to hold a paper towel roll on front (see picture). I also picked up some S hooks from local home improvement store to grill accessories, etc. This is best used for car camping, is sturdy, and works best with mostly even ground.

Great design, screws not adequate

The design is well thought out and the kitchen is great for car camping or tailgating. Unfortunately, as mentioned in other reviews, the screws attaching the legs mounts to the extension table are too short. They pulled out the first time I tried to collapse the legs. The tops in my unit are laminated plywood (not particle board as suggested in another review), and I was able to glue the leg mounts in place. I'm keeping the unit (as I said, the design is great), but know that you might need to do some minor repair before you use the kitchen.

The grand daddy

Wow, they thought of it all! Brought this bad boy out via canoe and found it to be highly portable but 20ish pounds plus the cooler was alot. Good accessories also help as we'll (ex. Lantern, cutting board, stove, etc.). I found this item extremely easy to set up and take down (clocked at under 1 minute.). My favorite part is the net they give you to let your cookware dry.

I love this little kitchen!

This kitchen is exactly what my little campsite needed. It feels sturdy and well made, unlike other flimsy camp tables I've tried. My camp stove and sink setup fits on the main table with plenty of room to spare for all my kitchen essentials. I love that I can reduce it to one table for those quick camping trips that don't require much space. The carry bag fits everything snugly and protects the pieces that aren't in use from the elements and it folds down quickly with ease.. I added a small container with a drawer to hold my cutlery and other little odds and ends that would otherwise fall between the metal grates. I highly recommend this camp kitchen!

I love this thing

This table is amazing. I've been car camping and outdoor living for 40 years and have yet to see anything like this. It's got just what I need in a camp table: a shelf for my 2-burner, a prep shelf, two racks for pots, pans, cutlery and spices and a post from which to hang a light. It's beefy enough to handle chopping onions and a heavy dutch oven and it's small and light enough to fold flat in the back of my car. The post which holds the light is also a perfect paper towel holder. I wish the height on the lamp post was adjustable and I need to bring levelers for underneath the stove. BTW, I'm astonished that the previous reviewer was so critical of this table and has completely re-designed it without ever having used it.

Almost perfect

I love the flexibility of this table. I set ours up with the shorter side table on the right. I have a larger propane stove that takes up most of the width of the taller table, and the propane tank rests on the right perfectly on the lower side. I wish there was a way to rest the propane tank without taking any additional table space. Note: the instructions state to place the stove on the small side table and rest the propane tank UNDER the taller table, which would be great, except my stove (Stansport Outfitter Series 50,000 BTU Output Propane Stove) did not allow for this configuration. I'm not deducting any stars off for this, as it is pretty specific to my gear. Hey REI, it would be great if you offered the option of getting an additional side table!

Nice system

I have looked at this came kitchen for years and put off buying it due to other priorities in gear needs. Now with almost everything I can think of that we really need, this really was worth the wait. Love how everything is right in arms reach when I'm cooking and getting meals ready. This keeps your kitchen items centrally located as well as freeing up table space to do what you need to do at a table, eat. Not having to worry about someone sitting at the table next to a hot stove is great, as well as not having to run around the table to get what you need.

Very helpful

I was the primary cook for 6 adults and 6 children on our first trip with this Camp Kitchen, and I found this kitchen system perfect for our needs. Very easy set up, including adjustable legs for uneven surfaces. On top, on one side, I used a cooking element and kept all utensils, food, spices, etc, handy on the other side. Underneath, I had a basins on the shelves for clean/dirty dishes and other kitchen whatnots. In the mornings, I set up a coffee station for everyone and it was as "civilized" as I could want in the great outdoors. I will tweak my use of the available storage space underneath as I use it more often. It will come in handy even for our backyard cookouts. If you can fit this into your car and budget, it is a quality piece of useful equipment.

Convenient, but pricey for the construction

Although it's a convenient kitchen, the following items are a bit of an annoyance. 1. The tables have rods underneath them which clip/snap in to the base. Not a bad idea in theory, but those rods constantly roll and you have to be sure they are in exactly the correct position in order to snap properly. 2. The post that extends up and uses a clamp to hang a lantern....useless. The clip isn't secure and slides down. 3. For the cost of this kitchen, I've seen others, better constructed for less that at least provide the bags or bins to go with. 4. No wash basin. Perhaps an enhancement for a newer version! I now use this as extra prep for cooking, but purchased a larger kitchen that comes with the bins.

Pretty good Camping Table.

It provided a good amount of space for setting up our camp stove. Has a nice hook for a lantern. I think they could have provided a better way to pack it up though. For the most part it packs up well but the smaller pieces need a way to be secured. I'm concerned they might fall out while transporting it. It's also a big vague as to how the design holds the garbage lining? Is is a special bag you buy or are you suppose to use plastic grocery bags? If normal garbage bags are the intent they could have included a few clamps to hold it on.
