Comments about CamelBak Volt 13 LR Hydration Pack - 100 fl. oz.:
I replaced a Camelbak HAWG from ~'04, it finally wore out. I bought the Volt 13LR to replace it, I really like how it stays in place on long rides and fits with the bike. But took it to Moab for a mtn bike trip. Slickrock was the first ride and kinda spun out and fell over on one of the steep climbs, the granola bar in the side pocket ripped through the side (no it wasn't a 3 year expired clif bar). The fabric is very light and thin like a tent, not a backpack. Setting the backpack on the ground during stops, wore holes in the bottom on the back side. The design of the backpack is good for mtn biking, but my multitool wouldn't easily fit in the outer pocket, the tire pump and shock pump didn't have a dedicated spot in the large opening, which is weird for a bike specific pack. I really want to like this pack but if the previous one lasted 9 years I expect the new one to do the same.

Comments about CamelBak Volt 13 LR Hydration Pack - 100 fl. oz.:
I had an HAWG from ~'04; the backpack finally died and the Volt 13LR was its replacement. The concept is awesome, the bladder is 100oz, new shape works well for long rides. The pack stays put, but the pack itself is made out of way to thin of material for durability. The material is on par with a tent, not a backpack. First day of Moab trip did Slickrock and a minor crash ripped a 2" gash through the side pocket with a granola bar, yes a granola bar (not a 3 yr old one, a fresh soft one). Just setting pack down and picking up wore holes in it. Pocket layout is pretty good, I wish it had a little bigger pocket to fit my multitool in the outer pocket. Also pump and shock pump don't fit as well in the big pocket as you would think a bike specific pack would. You have to install bladder first and then pack the large compartment, or the bladder just won't go in.
