    The tough and versatile Giro Sica mountain bike shoes have stiff carbon fiber soles to maximize power transfer and offer a women-specific, easily adjustable fit for your riding comfort.

    • Lightweight microfiber synthetic leather and nylon mesh uppers give a glovelike fit with excellent breathability; welded scuff guards offer added durability
    • Molded EVA footbeds include a fit kit with 3 different-size arch supports, allowing you to choose the amount of support needed
    • Carbon fiber soles offer more rigidity than a nylon sole, providing a direct connection with the pedal and solid power transfer
    • High traction outsole lugs enhance grip and durability on trails and in muddy conditions; soles also accept toe spikes for 'cross season or winter riding
    • Strong and secure ratcheting buckle allows precise on-the-fly adjustability; buckle is replaceable
    • 2 rip-and-stick closure straps provide a solid, secure fit over insteps and are offset to maximize comfort and minimize pressure points

    Ordered 1 a 1/2 size bigger then I needed, then returned them to get a full size bigger.

    Also the lugs though great on grass, dirt or pavement, are very slippery on tile or smooth polished concrete.
