The Big Agnes Pumphouse Pad Pump dry sack fills multiple roles when you're backpacking. Use it as a pad pump, dry sack, pillow, water carrier and backcountry shower.

To inflate your Big Agnes sleeping pad (sold separately), open the drawstring on the nozzle end, place it on an open sleeping pad valve and then cinch the drawstring
Allow air to enter the other end of the stuff sack, then roll the stuff sack end partially closed and inflate the pad with the air inside the Pumphouse
When you're not inflating your pad, the Pumphouse can be used as a dry sack to protect clothes and gear from rain
Water-tight construction allows the Pumphouse to be used to transport water from the stream to your campsite, and can even be used as a backcountry shower
Big Agnes Pumphouse Pad Pump dry sack is made from lightweight Cordura® nylon that resists abrasion, tears and scuffs

This thing is great, but I wouldn't count on it for anything more than an inflator. I love it because I don't want my moist, bacteria laden breath going into my hard to ventilate sleeping pad. Not only over time will it increase it's weight because of the moisture content, it's just nasty. Just aim the open end of this into the wind and it will fill up on it's own to about 75%, then just one of my breaths blown into it fills it up nicely. Then, squeeze that into your sleeping pad, for mine, the Big Agnes Q-Core SL, about 8-10 times. It's way faster and easier than doing all that huffing and puffing yourself. By the way, I love my new sleeping pad too!

I had always hesitated to invest in inflatable sleeping pads because I didn't want to carry a small, motorized pump. This pumphouse solves that issue. It takes about 5 minutes (10 bag fulls) to fully inflate any Big Agnes sleeping pad and then you're done. In the meantime you can also use this as a stuff sack or a pillow (with a jacket inside).
