Big Agnes Q-Core SL Sleeping Pad is rated 4.25 out of 5 by 68.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pad I've used to date I recently ordered this pad with the Big Agnes Lone Ranger sleeping bag and I am unbelievably impressed. As always Big Agnes delivers with this sleeping pad. The pad takes about 2 minutes to blow up and fits inside the sleeping bag perfectly. The quilt like top of the pad is the most comfortable inflatable pad I have ever slept on. I am 6'1" about 215lbs and the 20'X78" fits me like a glove. The pad with carrying case weighs 20.56 ounces which in all respect is fairly heavy for the minimalist backpacker, but worth it's weight in gold in my eyes. Guarnateed your best sleep in the backcountry, I highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best backpacking pad so far I replaced older Big Agnes pads that developed leaks with the Q-Core pads for my family (me, wife, two daughters) for a Mt. Hood backpacking trip. Despite it being summer, the temperature dropped to 29º at night and the pads insulated well. As a side-sleeper, this was the first pad that kept me completely off the ground. They are light and pack small. The only drawback is the narrowness. My wife sleeps on her back and felt her arms "dangling" off the sides. The only wider version is also a long size. I'd suggest a wider option in the regular length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but Specs off - L/W specs below. I haven't had it long enough YET to comment on how long it will last, etc, but I did note one thing right away - as others have said, specs are off. I knew this going in (but didn't know what I would get) so being a big guy, I ordered the Long / Wide. My tape measure says its about 23.5 usable width and about 76.5 length. My scale gives a weight of 27 oz exactly. Without the bag and repair get you can knock off MAYBE one oz. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing shabby about 27 oz except the fact the manufacturer claims it is 23. So for those who want to know for the Long Wide, there you go. 23.5"x76.5", 27oz. For mine, anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect pad The older I get the more comfort I want. I sleep on my sides and enjoy more padding for my shoulders and hips. This pad is the perfect balance between comfort and pack weight. I just returned from an 8 day backpacking trip in Yosemite. I slept great every night using this pad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sleeping Pad This is the sleeping pad that made me give up my hammock. Until I tried this pad I was convinced that hammock camping was the only lightweight way to get a good night sleep in the back country. However, I was dead wrong. Last month I went on a trip in sub freezing temps, since hammocks are a bit cold, I decided to use a cheap tent I already had, and try out a modern sleep pad. So, I went to my local REI and spent over an hour testing every sleeping pad there. Many of the heavy ones were comfortable, but as I like to keep my base weight under 16lbs, they were simply too heavy for my personal taste. Since I always prefer to go lighter whenever possible, I tried out the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite. I was especially interested in that pad since I saw that it had many good reviews on the web. However, I found that the crinkly noise it produces is too loud for me to ignore. It would be like trying to sleep atop a space blanket. So, I narrowed it down between the Big Agnes Q-Core SL, and the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir All Season. That was a tough choice for me, and I do recommend trying both out for yourself. But, ultimately, the Big Agnes Q-Core SL won out for me. The only downside I can think of is it is a bit tough to inflate. I plan on replacing one of my dry bags with the Big Agnes Pump House bag to use for inflation. To summarize, I'm very glad I found this pad I have since forgotten all about my hammock. Side note: with stuff sack and patch kit my 20x72" pad weighs in at 19.5oz on my scale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long and wide model is great! This is the most comfortable night's sleep I've ever had camping! I'm a pretty curvy woman so I've always had problems with my hips and arms falling asleep if I sleep on my side, or my lower back hurting if I sleep on my back. Not a problem with this sleeping pad. It was very nearly as comfortable as my bed, which is something I never thought I'd say. I tried out the regular (72x20) in the store and it was way too narrow. Compared to the older q-core model it was noticeably narrower and I consider the older model to be borderline. So, I went with the long and wide (78x25) and it is great. I'm paying a bit of a weight penalty for the extra realestate, but it's still lighter than my old 1.75" self-inflating mat and about 1000x more comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pad I have had a lot of sleeping pads over the years, and this is the best one I have ever used. I am now 71 years old and the ground seems harder than it used to be, but this Big Agnes pad keeps me from feeling the ground even when I sleep on my side. It is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Jesus it's comfortable - This pad is more comfortable than my bed. - It doesn't move around when you turn over (or any other time while you're sleeping). - I don't bottom out when I sleep on my side on the Petite size (I'm 5'2" 100 lbs) - Inflating is quick & easy if you have either the Big Agnes Pumphouse Pad Pump Dry Sack or the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Pump Sack. Literally save your breath (& prevent moisture from condensing inside your pad) by spending $20 on the Pumphouse- it's worth every penny.
