by fromLove them, but wearing out quickly I run 10-20 miles per week on average, and I bought these in late February for my road running shoe because I finally had to accept that Vibram Five Fingers doesn't quite fit my pinky toes. These are very comfortable and stylish. However, despite the recommendation from an REI employee, these are wearing out quicker than I expected. The left side of the left insole has been slowly deteriorating for the past month, and the traction is going flat faster than I'd like. Hopefully these can last for a while, because I really like them, but I'm not sure if they'll last 6 months.

by fromLove this shoe! I wear these mostly for recreational bike rides and just running errands around town. They are meant to simulate a "barefoot" experience so there's very little cushion or arch support. Do not buy these if that's something you need. I, however, do not need the extra support/cushion and absolutely love these shoes. They are lightweight and very comfortable. Bonus: They are the best shade of green ever! I always get compliments on them!

by fromGood purchase Transitioning to zero lift running shoe, minimal issues. As with anything new, be easy on yourself to adjust. Great comfort, wear almost everyday.

by fromgreat for trail running I use these shoes for running on firm gravel trails. I usually run on roads and need a bit more padding than these provide, as I can easily feel it in my shins after running on road without much padding. However, these are great for trails. They are lightweight and breathable. As with any of the running shoes, if you run a lot as I do, they will wear out, which is why I didn't explicitly list that as a con since I'm used to shoes getting worn after lots of use.

by fromAll-around shoe I use these shoes on my bicycle commutes (on flat pedals). There is just enough traction that I don't slip on the pedals, and the shoes don't get heavy if I get rained on. They are casual but not "sloppy" if you want to wear them out and about. I have only run with them once... when I got a flat and had to run home. They did the job and I didn't mind the road feel, but they are certainly more of a miniminalist design, so don't expect cushioning. Also, when I tried them on in the store I felt like they were maybe a little small (not in width but length), but they seemed to have stretched to "true to fit" within a week or so of wearing.

by fromGreat shoe I'm ordering my second pair. A great shoe with a barely-there feeling, perfect for minimalist runners. I ran two half marathons in them, both times without a blister or any shoe related issues. The only thing I did not like is that a part of the rubber sole came loose early on, and I had to glue it back on. Since they fit so well and feel great overall though, I will continue to buy them. I do not think I ever had a shoe that fit so well and never caused any foot issues etc. I have small feet (I'm French) and I wear them with thin socks, and they are perfect.

by fromHands Down Hands down the best running / workout shoe I've ever bought. I've got to hand it to Merrell...they make a good shoe. As soon as I put them on my immediate reaction was "wow." It hugged my foot just right. Not too tight not too loose...and it is so breathable. I am still amazed every time I put it on.

by fromPerfectos These are great. I wanted a pair of lightweight shoes to get into barefoot running and these are perfect. They are so light and comfortable, I forget they are even on. I wear them with and without socks and have never gotten a blister. They provide some arch support and a very slight amount of cushioning.
