The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Big Agnes Tensleep Station 6 Tent:
Bought this tent at the REI anniversary sale. Took it out this past weekend, to camp down on the coast. The tent was easy to set up. It took two of us about 10 minutes to get it fully set up. We did purchase the footprint as well, and I'd recommend it. The poles are very heavy duty, and the tent stakes that came with the tent were more than adequate. It was quite windy at our campsite, and the tent didn't budge all weekend. The tent vented well even with the fly on. I did like the way you can configure the vestibule in several different ways. My boyfriend and I are both taller people, I'm 5'9" and he's 6'2", so we both appreciated that we could stand upright in the tent. Thrilled with it, can't wait to use it again! We didn't have to deal with any rain, so I can't speak to the waterproof-ness of the fly.

Comments about Big Agnes Tensleep Station 6 Tent:
Our family recently downsized from tent trailer camping to car camping. We needed a tent to sleep four comfortably, had lots of headroom in which to stand, but is built to take what Mother Nature could throw at it (given that this is a big tent, there are limitations that can't be avoided), and I'm confident this can deal with the wind we get around some the lakes here in SW Idaho (flapping fabric at night can be a sleep killer).
Since this is the tent's first year on the market, I was reluctant to make the purchase because there weren't any reviews on REI.com. But, we've camped enough with another family to know that there had to be something better (when it comes to dealing with wind and rain) than the Kingdom. This tent is it. I like to call it the transformer of big tents.
The rainfly provides coverage all around and also rolls out of the way to provide a ton of different configurations to suit your ventilation/shade needs.
The front is a garage of sorts that can transform into a screened area, or a sun shade (you'll need two poles or trees to achieve this). The storage area in the rear is small, but good for a couple of duffle bags of gear.
Pockets are everywhere. An attic is sold separately and I may get it, but for now, I'm content with the loops in the ceiling to hang a headlamp or two.
In addition to the floor-level staking areas, there are tie-down points around the perimeter of the tent (at about eye level) that allow you to anchor the tent against the elements. And the adjustable fly clips allow you to crank this baby down to get the fabric taught against wind and rain.
I highly recommend the footprint, which is sold separately. The tent folds up into a cool briefcase-like bag that nicely stows the poles, stakes, tent and rainfly in their respective pockets. Setup and teardown is easy. Very satisfied.
