Used on a recent trip in deep, wet snow. My boots and pants underneath stayed dry, from the outside and from the inside as well. I tend to run hot and I didn't have any breathability issue with them. Great set of gaiters.

I've used these gaiters for mountaineering, snoeshowing, and ice climbing. The fit seems dialed in, just like the OR Crocodiles. Breathability seems acceptable, never super breathable (not that the best Gore Tex even is), but my legs never felt particularly humid either. Overall, I was very happy with the performance of these gaiters.

Durability is another story. The velcro stitching ripped during the first week, but not all the way through. It still holds and seems to have remained snow proof through, despite several more weeks of heavy use. The interior coating seems to be wearing as well. For now, it still performs well and it seems to be crampon-proof. I'll probably cash in on the warranty for a replacement at the end of the season and hope the next pair holds up better.
