    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromSome quality concerns Really liked this tent - worked beautifully, but I had some concerns about durability. Experienced tugging and bunching in the mesh within first dozen uses, that I feared would have led to bigger issues with more uses. Also ended up with a slight bend in the connecting pole that runs across the top of the dome. This pole is designed to bend when the tent is setup, but one of our early outings with it left a permanent bend on one end. REI was great about exchanging the tent, and I'll be going back to Big Agnes.

by fromBack packing Light weight and easy to set up Only complaint is no way to look out with out opening the door So if you hear something in the middle of the night that goes bump or woof's you can not peak out this leaves you think what is out there.

Having one big tent is a better option if you have young kids. The built in gear loft is useful for glasses and headtourches. If you are looking for a 4 person car camping tent I reccommend you go for something bigger, you can sleep 4 in this but it's a bit tight for 2 people it could be a good option. The only reason for 4 stars is the rainfly, I find it really hard to get a taught pitch like in the REI photos, this makes it har to keep the separation between the tent and fly unless you can pitch on perfectly flat ground, this could ulimately affect the wet weather capabilities.

by fromExcellent Tent I bought this tent to use for a week of summer camp so as to have a little more room than my backpacking tent. Tent is easy to set up and plenty of room. Haven't had any weather to deal with yet, but confident it will handle it.

by fromQuick set up I wish that this had come with (some) instructions. I've never had a tent with three poles, so it took a minute to figure out what to do with the shorter pole. It's really fast to set up once you figure out how it's supposed to go. The rain fly is a TIGHT fit though. It took a lot of readjusting before it was all snug and in the right place. Otherwise it was awesome. I like that it has a lot of ventilation even with the rain fly on. We slept in it three nights in the desert of Colorado and the wind usually can do some damage but the tent didn't move at all and with the rain fly being so snug, it didn't cause for a lot of noise all night.

by fromGreat backpacking tent for family This is a nice tent for the money. Light and compact to go backpacking with, our family of two adults and two kids fit this tent comfortably. The open mesh top and sides is really nice for feeling like your out in the open, and not just hiding in a tent.

by fromNe'er a disappointment My brother-in-law has this one, 15-20 years old now. I'm been going with "another brand" and love them, but this one was the right price, right color and lighter. Backpacing with 3 kids and me. It's lighter than my 3 man and much bigger. Very easy to set up. Told my wife I could do it in the dark, so I did. Bummer that the footprint is not included. Bought it separate.

by fromLight and Roomy Four of us on a hike in La Garita. Light, easy to set up. Rained every night for 6 nights, no leaks. Four in tent causes condensation so we pulled the sides out at the base where loops were with extra ground stakes. Love this tent. Two large vestibules held all our gear dry and safe.
