by fromVery comfortable until the baffles blew out This pad was very comfortable for about 40 nights of use over a year period. I especially liked how easy it was to deflate, how light it is and how small it packs. The larger diameter side tubes are a good design, and helped to keep me from rolling off the pad at night. Unfortunately, several of the central baffles ruptured making the pad very difficult to sleep on. I've returned the pad and am looking for a replacement.

by fromA fine piece of work I used this at a summer camp for 9 days. I like it because it is durable, good color, very comfortable, very light and compact. The only things I have against this product is that it's very slippery and it's somewhat confusing to roll up. Given that it was in the summer, I don't really know how warm it is or how it handles cold temperatures.

by fromNice Pad The pad works well. It keeps me off the ground in insulated. It is quite comfortable and packs small in my backpack. The only little complaint I have is that it does seem a bit fragile and easy to rip or otherwise become less sturdy than other pads. Not that I've had any damages to mine but I do see the potential.

by fromExcellent Upgrade from a Foamy This pad replaced a foam pad that I used to use in High School. Either I had more meat on my bones back then, or my boney hips weren't as pronounced, but that foam pad wasn't cutting it anymore. I went into REI and tried out a few pads, compared costs, and went with this one. I'm VERY happy with it, and it's proven to be an excellent pad. Only downside is immediate sweating if you lay on it with bare skin in +80F weather. It's like it pulls the sweat out of you. Still, not a big deal. BUY IT!

by fromGreat value I was using a half length pad before, so comparing some new pads, this one was actually lighter, yet bigger. Picked it up with a discount and it has been great. After having slept with a half pad, the mummy shape doesn't bother me at all. Plus I have a mummy pad. The thicker edges worked well to keep the pad from slipping. The inflation system is also a good setup, making it easy to inflate, even if it does take several minutes. For the price, this is a good option. It is very similar to the Synmat UL 7, but for the lower price, it's worth if if you want to save the money. It does not include a path kit, however, so that may be something to consider.

by fromGood Pad, but... Compact and lightweight, was easy to inflate considering that it is an air mattress. Side rails help keep restless sleepers (mostly) on the pad. Bummer was that it was so slippery. Couldn't keep the bag on the pad, as I was repeatedly sliding to the bottom of the tent. I really wanted to like it, but had to return it in the end. If your bag's shell is not super slippery, check this out.

by fromGreat A great product that really delivers. I'm a side sleeper and my old Therm-A-Rest 3 season foam pad just didn't provide enough loft. This pad works great and seems to be very durable. I've bivy hunted on it for three trips and slept on it for almost two solid weeks. The insulation value seems a bit light but it still offers acceptable insulation for the type of pad. I used it at around 30 Deg. Feh. without getting cold from the ground. I use this pad inside my Mountain Hardware Bivy Conduit SL and it seems to stay put well but it also fits snug so there isn't much room for slippage. It takes approximately 17 large breaths to inflate from me and has a nice inflate/deflate system. It is compact but a bit long. It's half the diameter of my old Therm but almost twice as long. Seems to take up less room though. Would highly recommend; the cost was very competitive compared to the other brands.

by fromOne of the best It was a toss up with so many small pads out there, I was finally able to decide on the REI flash. Most of the REI flash series is superb. it is highly packable, sized as marketed, and seemingly durable. Time will tell. Overall, very happy with this pad.
