    Comments about REI Nesting Tableware Set - Service for 4:

    This is a great product for truck camping. I couldn't believe how much food the stuff could hold and then pack up in a small package. Obviously it is not made to go in a backpack all though I suppose you could. As far as car camping goes though I would consider it to be a nice and compact piece of kit. The bowls and cups are a little small but not too bad, the plates are a good size. For a package this small something has to give and I would still consider them usable. The container is meant to be a wash basin but I like to use it as a miking bowl for hash/stir fry/scramble types of meals. The lid is meant to be a cutting board and works nicely. The silverware is a little flimsy, not as nice as the REI polymer stuff the sell separately but not totally bad either, doesn't sink it for me. My only real fall out with this is that it is hand wash only. For the price I think it should be dishwasher safe. May not matter much to some as there are not dishwashers out in the woods anyway.
