Comments about Volkl RTM 84 Skis with Bindings - Men's - 2012/2013:

No cons that I have found yet (although haven't used them on New England "loose granular" yet). in fresh powder on double-blacks and hardpack groomers (Utah), as well as spring snow in New England (hardpack to almost slush) they didn't faulter. Really superb skis. A bit heavy, and expect to muscle them for short radius turns, but as an allround, go anywhere and enjoy kind of ski, these are it. Can't comment on durability, although the demo pair I tried seemed to be surviving well.

Service and delivery comments:

On time, all parts. Packaging a bit shakey (box was open). Be warned, instructions for bindings (which are not mounted) take you all the way to fitting the bindings but don't discss DIN settings. If you don't know what that means, get help from a pro.

Comments about Volkl RTM 84 Skis with Bindings - Men's - 2012/2013:

I went into REI to get the Rossi E88's , I had read many review in numerous mags about how great they were. Keith at the Bailey Crossroads store in Falls Church asked a lot of questions about my skills and where I do most of my skiing and then recommended the Volkl RTM 84's. I told him my main objective was to go faster and carve better than my buddies I go skiing out west with. These ski's crushed them, best trip I ever had.
