These have worked great for me so far. When the lights ran down to red I just changed the batteries and they were back to normal! For the other that had them stuck on red...

The lights started out great! I loved all of the changing colors and how there seemed to be endless color combinations...and now it's just stuck on red. No matter what I do, it's stuck on red. This issue seems to be common. ENO needs to take note and fix this issue. I will be returning this product. Really bummed.

Like a previous reviewer...I really REALLY wanted to like these. They are so cute and can add fun to any campsite. However, once we inserted the batteries and clicked the "on" switch...disappointment =(

Having purchased the rainbow colors we were hoping for a multi-color experience. However, the strand seems to briefly flicker to maybe one other color before deciding to stay on red. We tried using different batteries..wiggling the wires...no luck. Sadly, I'll be making a trip to REI to return this item soon.

Note: While looking around at reviews from other websites I did find one other person that experienced the same "stuck on red" situation...Maybe the white lights would be better?

I really wanted to love these! They are small, come in a light little package and are LED meaning no heat and good long life...except that they don't work very well. Hopefully I just got a bad batch but they worked for about 4 hours then, they just stay permanently red. No color changes, nothing. Sometimes they will look like they are about to change colors, and they go dim, only for the red to come back on. I've changed batteries several times now and I get the same thing.

I'm going to try to return them and see if it was just a bad batch. If they worked, they'd be perfect for car camping or I'd even take them on hut trips to liven up the place. But they need to work first...

We set these up on our pop-up camp cover and loved it. We used to use a lantern which blinded folks as they approached our camp. Now, we have this nice low level light (can't read to it, but great for hanging out in the evening at camp). It is enough light to cook with too. These really gave our camp a "fairy" look, which is just right for us

These are small enough for backpacking and inside your tent too.
