My husband got this jacket last year and loves it. He wore it from when it started to get chilly in fall through the end of winter. All activities too - casual wear, hiking, as an insulating layer under a shell when skiing, walking around the cold ski town at night. The stretchy panels on the sides and the back let you breath so you don't get overheated and the insulated panels on front and back keep you warm. He is really really happy with it!
