My first article of clothing from Ibex, and I like it a lot. If you're used to Euro-sized shorts / bibs / knickers, these fit large -- and yet, they are very comfortable. Being wool, they dry more slowly than your typical Lycra-mix pieces, but are generally ready to go within 18 hours. I don't call weather out here *cold*, but these will easily work down to 32F / 0C.

I really wanted to like these knickers. They are warm without being too warm. The legs stayed in place without any problems. The straps were comfortable and didnt dig in or anything. The material was very comfortable. The pad was just ok, not too puffy, not uncomfortable, but nothing special.

The bad part is that there seemed to be a lot of extra material in the front and it was a sloppy fit in the crotch. I had to frequently adjust everything and it was very distracting. I would also worry about chafing on longer rides.

I dont have a gut and am on the small side of the medium so maybe I wasnt using enough material in other places to keep the front pulled up enough. But I do not have this problem with bibs of other brands.

These are very well constructed. I like that they are made in the USA. If they had fit better in the front these would be my favorite bibs.
