Comments about Columbia Bugaboo Interchange 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Women's:
Got this jacket on sale right before my backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon. I love the color, and the fact that it was the last Small. I also liked that I could unzip the two layers and wear either or. Very versatile, and it's light.
The only downside is that I wish it was a bit more waterproof so I could wear it on rainy days in San Francisco and not have to worry too much. I'm just glad it didn't rain during my backpacking trip

I brought this jacket to a trip to London in March. The weather was cold and wet. This jacket was perfect to keep me warm and dry. It's pretty light weight and it can look more stylish when you take the hood off.

Comments about Columbia Bugaboo Interchange 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Women's:
As many others have reported, Columbia jackets run small - I bought a large where I would normally wear a medium on this and a previous Columbia 3in1 jacket.
I'm pleased with the jacket so far. Seems lighter weight than my previous jacket (which was also thigh length instead of hip length); will have to see how warm it really is next winter.

Comments about Columbia Bugaboo Interchange 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Women's:
I purchased this jacket online. I liked everything I read under the features. It seemed perfect for what I needed it for. I work outdoors in the mountains behind San Diego, and wanted a wind proof waterproof jacket I could wear all winter. I ordered it in black because it was the lesser of evils color wise. It seems the trouble I have with women's coats is that the majority are only offered in bubblegum colors. I generally wear a small, even extra small, but I wanted to the option to layer underneath so I ordered up to a medium. When the jacket arrived I was happy with how it looked and how the liner fit inside the coat. But the moment I put it on I was totally disappointed with this coat. The first thing I noticed was the fit. Although length and sleeve length was great, it was so tight under my armpits it was downright painfull. And ithe torso seemed to have the same problem, it was cut in an hourglass fit and so was very tight in the chest when zipped. And I am an AAACup! Layering was impossible, but so was just using my arms. It seems this jackets problem, and many women's jackets are the same, they try to make them "slimming" instead of making a comfortable functional piece of clothing. I drove this jacket back the same day I got it in the mail. (Fortunately I was able to find a womens jacket in dark green in medium in the rei store I retuned the bugaboo to. It fits great with lots of layering space in medium and is not too " fitted," cut more like a men's jacket which is so much more comfortable. Also, it has many extra pockets, which many women's jackets get slighted in the pocket department as they are not " slimming" enough.) I would not recommend this jacket if you intend to work or move in it. If you plan to stand still and look nice, and do not need to move it would maybe be ok.

This is a great 3 part coat. Love the fact that you get three coats in one with this.

Comments about Columbia Bugaboo Interchange 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Women's:
I just got back from a ski trip in Colorado and this jacket was incredible! My chest/arms were never cold and the hood provides great cover. One day, I took out the liner/fleece and was surprised by how warm it was on it's own.
At first, I was concerned that the jacket doesn't have the arm vents like some others do, but even while snow-shoeing I didn't miss them.
I also have the matching pants and they're also very warm.

Comments about Columbia Bugaboo Interchange 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Women's:
I love the idea of a 3-in-1 and this one seems to have everything while still looking good and avoiding bulk. I am 5'5", 130#, 34B and I bought this in the Medium (Black). I did try the Small as well and while the sleeve length was better on the Small, it was tight in the chest and the armholes, like it was riding up on my underarms. So I opted for the Medium as the fit was more relaxed and the longer sleeve is forgivable. When I wear the shell on it's own, there are no fit issues and it looks great. The inner fleece jacket also fits nicely on its own and keeps my very warm. However, when I wear them together, it does start to feel just the slightest bit tight in the armholes. I haven't yet worn it with a long-sleeve sweater as well, but I worry that it might start to feel bothersome in the shoulder/underarm area given the smallish diameter. As of now, I'm still on the fence about this jacket. I've had it for a few months and I like it a lot. These issues for the most part have not bothered me. Over time that may change so it remains to be seen whether or not I'll keep it.

Comments about Columbia Bugaboo Interchange 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Women's:
Nice jacket, but the shoulders and sleeves are oddly tight with the internal layer. The outer jacket is loose and fits fine, but the fleece layer is uncomfortably tight. Not optimal for women with muscular arms or larger shoulders.

Comments about Columbia Bugaboo Interchange 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Women's:
I exchanged the first jacket that was too small (didn't match the measurements for suggested size). Returned the second jacket because the lining pulled apart at the seam on the sleeve. Quality of outer jacket wasn't as good as I expected for a jacket in this price range. As always, REI service was just fine.
