Cold air and condensation are no match for the warmth of the Sierra Design Zissou +0°F Hi sleeping bag. It has the new DriDown™ finish for down insulation that resists water and dries fast.

Regular down takes on water and is very difficult to dry; through the DriDown proprietary process, each individual down plume is treated with a hydrophobic finish
With the down now resistant to water, the insulation maintains its loft and stays dry 7 times longer than untreated down
It also performs better in high humidity than regular down, and in case it accidentally gets wet, it will dry out faster, too
Lightweight yet durable 30-denier micro-ripstop polyester shell and comfortable, moisture-wicking polyester lining warms up fast
Baffle construction keeps down from migrating, eliminating cold spots
Full-length 2-way, double sliding zipper allows easy venting; locking slider is backed by wide, antisnag binding tape
Snag-free zipper tracks prevent the dreaded stuck zipper by creating a barrier between the lining and the zipper track

Bought this since I needed to move towards a zero degree bag as most of the minimlaist 15 degree type bags out there just dont seem to keep me warm below thirty degrees. The Dri-down concept was just icing on the cake. Used on a boating trip down hells canyon I found it is a remarkably comfortable bag, having somewhat of a "cushy" down fill and shell material. Temps got down to around 35 so I cant vouch for below feezing livibility,however with that being said I had to open and vent the bag as I was getting a bit too hot and I am a super cold sleeper. The zipper works great, no snagging issues. The zipper will sometimes open itself although not a major issue for me. This is not a very lightweight packable bag but for the price point I think its great. It fits with a bit of effort into a Granite Gear 16L compression sack. The only drawbacks are a somewhat difficult to operate hood cinch and the size of the bag, but most zero degree (6EN) bags arent exactly small. I look forward to the 800 fill version next spring..

I have used this bag for two straight weekends in the Wenatchee Forest, first at Ingalls Creek then at Chiwaukum Creek. Nights were cool, in the mid-40s. Bag was comfortable, fluffing up quickly. I am 5'8, 160 and found it provided ample room. I did not overheat and slept well. Bag stuffs, with effort, into a 12L Outdoor Research compression sack and compacts to a reasonable size. Have not had to put it to the real test of how warm it keeps me when wet. Hopefully, it lives up to its name. The bulk and weight would make it worthwhile then. Only complaints: zipper snags easily and leaked a few feathers (though not so many a goose would worry).
