The women's Deuter ACT Trail 28 SL pack is lightweight and durable—just what you need for the trail.

SL (Slimline) fit is specifically designed with narrow, short shoulder straps and short torso proportions for women
Aircontact back system with Delrin® frame rod allows warm air to escape and fresh air to circulate between the pack and the user's back
3D air-mesh fabric lining adds breathability to the contoured, padded shoulder straps; stabilizer straps provide proper pack position
Soft hip pads and anatomically formed hipbelt wrap body, stabilizing and controlling lateral movements of pack while on the go
Main compartment has plenty of room for an all-day hike; 2-way zipper on the front allows access to buried items
Hipbelt pocket and 2 side pockets (1 mesh, 1 zippered) store water bottles, headlamp, first-aid kit, sunscreen and multitool
Top lid pocket holds your map, compass or GPS, spare batteries and other small items
Hydration-compatible design features reservoir pocket and drink tube exit port for on-the-go hydration (reservoir not included)
Side compression straps let you cinch down loads for jostle-free carrying

Comments about Deuter ACT Trail 28 SL Pack - Women's - 2011 Closeout:

I love this pack. I bought it when it wasn't on sale. I ordered 1 of every women specific bags that REI carried and of all of them, I chose this one. I am petite, 130lbs - lots of muscle, 5 ft 3 and when I put this thing on, I felt like it was designed for me. It feels great on. It's very adjustable but doesn't loosen while you're hiking. I've taken it car camping, on 10+ mile day hikes, overnight and weekend trips (to a hotel or friends house) and it's a great bag for all those purposes. I love this bag and am online to buy the SL in a 65liter bag because the design is perfect for my height and body shape.
