Comments about CygoLite ExpiliOn 300 USB Bike Light:
I purchased this light because it was previously reviewed well and I needed a secondary light for night time riding.
I never got to use it more than 1 mile. The swivel part of the mount is attached with a fine thread screw in soft plastic. As soon as I took the light out for the first time last week it rotated whichever way it wanted and would not remain in a stationary position. I removed it after about a mile. When I got home I examined it closer. The screw that holds the swivel portion of the mount intact was loose and the plastic beneath was completely stripped. I don't know why engineers insist on using fine threaded screws to hold on to soft plastic. I returned the product to REI and will not purchase another light from this manufacturer again.
The light did illuminate the road nicely but what's the point if the mount won't keep it pointed ahead?

Comments about CygoLite ExpiliOn 300 USB Bike Light:
I had the MiLion before which was a bad purchase that I exchanged the for this one. The one difficulty I initially had with this one was that you have to really loosen it up to get it on your bike. This was a change from the previous cygolite I had.. I think it is though more secure. THe other one's battery went flying out one night in traffic and the rest never seemed secure. This one seems very secure, it gives good visibility for night city riding. Also, it has not needed to be charged yet after several rides. The headlite also doesn't wobble back and forth as the MiliOn did. Much improved design.

Comments about CygoLite ExpiliOn 300 USB Bike Light:
I commute in the pre dawn hours. About three miles a day. I also like the flashing capability that alerts motorists to my presence. My Cygolite is twice the Lumens that My Niterider was at less cost. That translates to almost 4000 candle power.
It lights up the road in front of me very well.
