The Vibram FiveFingers KSO women's multisport shoes provide a minimalist fit with the grip and protection of a Vibram™ sole.
- Individual toe slots enhance dexterity, control and stability to deliver a natural walking motion
- Thin, abrasion-resistant polyamide stretch fabric fits low on feet and offers quick-drying comfort; breathable stretch-mesh panels keep debris and grit out
- Instep straps secure with rip-and-stick closures and are attached to thin webbing straps that wrap around heels to provide a secure, supportive fit
- Footbeds feature AEGIS Microbe Shield® antibacterial treatment to help control odors
- 2mm EVA midsoles help provide light cushioning underfoot
- Vibram soles are designed to follow the contours of your feet and toes; made of nonmarking Vibram TC1 performance rubber
- Razor siping on soles provides sure grip on wet and slippery surfaces
- Recommended for light trekking, climbing, canyoneering, running, fitness training, travel and most water sports
- May help you feel an increased sense of balance, expanded range of motion and improved posture
- In order to allow your feet to adapt to using different muscles, gradually increase usage of these shoes
- Machine washable in cold water; air dry only

I love these shoes. They were purchased for my trip to Hawaii because I wanted something to protect my feet from getting ripped up by the lava rock when crawling in and out of tide pools and snorkeling. The shoes grip the rocks really well and the water drains out very quickly so there's no sloshing around after you get out of the water. Also they fit great with a pair of flippers/fins when snorkeling AND scuba diving. I only put poor cushioning on here because when walking over pebbles, you can really feel them and when walking on pavement it really is similar to walking barefoot. Not painful, just a little uncomfortable, just took a little getting used to. Looking forward to buying my next pair though.

I got a pair of those in black, these are my first five finger shoes. Extremely comfortable, my fingers are not crammed like they tend to be in any other style footwear - even my very comfy hiking boots. These are as comfy as flip flops, but sand and rocks don't get in easily. I mostly use them for city walks now, but I bought them for a jungle hiking/kayaking trip that is coming up - trying them out in the city, and I think they will do well. It took about 3 long walks to stretch the top as it was slightly rubbing in one spot, but that is gone now.
The only small negative is that after a long walk (3-4 hrs) the texture fells slightly odd, almost as if there is some residue left on my skin. it is not uncomfortable in any way, just a strange surface effect.
Based on these, I will definitely consider buying another pair for working out as my sneakers are getting close to the end of useful life.

I wanted something I could use for all my work-out activities and these definitely fit the bill. Can be worn at the gym, on the road, the beach and for water sports. I can walk/jog to the beach along the sidewalk and in the wet sand without getting my feet dirty. I have found that I exercise twice as long now and it's more fun because I don't have to remove and carry my footwear anymore - instead I can carry weights and work out my arms too. PLUS they feel great on my feet and since I hate shoes these are the perfect solution. They DO take a long time to dry so I'm going to get another pair - then I can work-out everyday.
