The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about The North Face Runners Gloves:
I originally tried them on and thought they were too thin to be much good and went with the Brooks Adapt Gloves. Later I realized I wanted something a little bit lighter duty for warmer runs in the 40's.
The glove works as advertised when it comes to clinching your fist for warmth or open it up for the lighter material on the palm to breath. I really like the watch cut out on the wrist area instead of having to deal with the typical larger cuff. I'm content wearing these gloves in the 40's and as it heated up into the 50's I didn't feel overheated and remove them I just opened my hands occasionally. I suspect I could use them in the 30's but they definitely wouldn't be as warm and comfy as a heavier weight glove. Personally I believe the more you run, the more you adapt your wardrobe to that sweet spot of not too hot and not too cold. Using the touch screen on my iphone was a breeze and I haven't felt the need to remove them while using the phone yet for any tasks. They have the expected plastic fastener to join them together when not in use which works great though I swear I feel that buckle swaying back and forth during my runs and I always try tucking it in. I really like the styling of these gloves and think they look pretty cool.
I've observed the left glove with the key pocket on the palm fits tighter in the palm which is slightly annoying. Also just as a warning if you use some sort of Velcro regularly during your run you will not like these gloves. I have a lifeproof armband to carry my phone and it has a couple tiny strips of super light duty Velcro. I tried adjusting it the other day and almost had to remove the glove to get the glove unstuck from the fingertips. I will always remove these gloves before touching Velcro since the very first encounter left some pulled threads and wear areas on the fingers that touched the Velcro.
As a whole I highly recommend these gloves when it's cold but not to cold, just avoid the Velcro.
