Columbia Mighty Lite Hooded Jacket - Women'sis rated4.5556out of5by9.
Rated4out of5bylz yogifromWonderfully warm coatThis is the warmest coat for such a lightweight item. I absolutely love it! The only issue is that some of the synthetic stuffing has come out of the seams and I have to trim it but I enjoy this coat so much that I won't return it.

Rated5out of5byandyschillfromWinter is now bearable!I live in Boise, ID. Our winters are pretty cold (it was -8 at night last week) and are very dry. This jacket does very well in the cold! I was looking for a stylish, warm jacket that wasn't boxy. This jacket does the trick! I would say that down to 25 degrees I can just wear a tee-shirt under the coat and am toasty. When temps drop further, I wear a cardigan or hoodie and I'm still plenty warm! The insultation is seriously magical. I'm not sure how this jacket would do in rainy climates - I don't think it would handle a down pour well. I love how long it is, and I love the thumb loops. The front pockets are GREAT. I love where they fit on the jacket, and how they feel. I feel cute in it - and warm! I also think the price is fantastic - very simlar products by Patagonia and North Face are at least $100 more. If you live in a cold, dry winter climate, I recommend this jacket!

Rated5out of5byAllyCAfromPerfect - Stylish, Warm, and ThinWe are going to Chicago in a few weeks, so I wanted something warm, pretty, and packable. This is it. I am a size 4, and the XS fit nicely - in a close fitting way. I wore it the other day to test it out, and it was wonderfully warm. It is hard to believe, as it is so thin and light. I love this jacket.

Rated4out of5byNaps with CatsfromNice, light commuter coatThis coat has been surprisingly rain-proof so far in fall weather, though I got a little sweaty inside it in a late-summer rainstorm. The fit is roomy enough to add warm layers underneath, and not bulky, so I can add a more wind- and rain-resistant poncho or shell if needed in the winter.

Rated5out of5byJhamadfromI love my new jacketSince the weather has been pretty cold, here in MI, I've been wearing it daily. I love it! The only thing that I'm not crazy about is how the hood tends to fall off easily, especially if it's windy. I also wish that I got it one size smaller. It feels a little big,but I would still wear it.

Rated5out of5byMtnBikeBeautyfromLove this jacket!I have been so impressed with this jacket! I bought it for a trip to Chicago and wanted something that was stylish but warm enough to wear in their chilly temps. I'm from the south and sometimes I don't even wear a coat ALL winter long! The weather in Chicago was in the 30s and it drizzled all weekend. I never ONCE got cold. I was sometimes too warm, especially if we were doing a lot of walking. The coat is very ligthweight which made it perfect for travel. I will agree with some of the other reviews, that it would be nice if it had a drawstring hood. The hood does not stay put, but I had a separate hat I wore so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I am 5'3 and have a pretty "solid" lower half, the meduim fit me perfectly. The large was too big in the chest for me. I have no buyer's remorse over this purchase! Love it!

Rated5out of5byLBC1324fromLove itI bike year round and was looking for a warm yet comfortable coat. So far this coat has been amazing! It definitely traps my body heat for my entire ride - I wear less layers and am still really warm. The two-way zipper means I can open up the bottom to make biking possible, but still get the long coat that I love. Very light and comfortable. Have not had trips below 20 degrees yet but I am looking forward to trying it out. It is also nicely fitted so I don't feel like I am in some bulky coat. Overall I am very very happy with my purchase.

Rated4out of5bymetalsgirlfromTruly warm and light!I was questioning how warm this jacket would be given its light weight. There was no temperature rating given by the manufacturer at all, but I was hoping for something that would serve me in the 20-40 degree range with active motion (walking on my 1.5 commute to work). I've had this jacket for a week and so far, I have tested in the 30 and 40 degree range. In the 40s, this coat heats up fast. With only a light long-sleeve top underneath, I am toasty to the point that I need to partially unzip by the time I'm half way to work. In the 30s, I have worn something slightly warmer underneath and so far I'm been kept very warm. I look forward to testing this in the 20s and seeing what happens.
I have two minor complaints so far that led me to rate as a 4 rather than a 5:
1) The hood is slippery (and roomy) and it does not stay on my head because there is nothing built in to the hood to cinch it in any way. I almost always wear a hat, so this is not the end of the world, but this feature would have been nice.
2) The pockets are slightly lower than I'd like. I'm 5'6" and the pockets are hitting me around the top of my thighs. I can reach them, but it's a stretch. This may be because I had to order a size up and they are expecting someone taller in that size. This jacket runs a bit small - I had to go with a large to accommodate room for layers in the chest area when I'm normally a medium in tops
