by fromLives up to the hype We now have a towel for every member of our family to use for camping trips. They're great for backpacking, car camping, day trips on the beach or for packing to take along on any trip where space is limited and/or weight matters.

by fromGreat for Bike Commuting Purchased this towel to use for the showers at work after my morning bike commute. The towel is really light and absorptive. It dries pretty well given the circumstances, there isn't a lot of air circulation in our locker room so it isn't always dry at the end of the day. Although it's a bit expensive I think its definitely worth it given how much space towels typically take up and its impressive absorption.

by fromSmaller than I thought I was hoping that this towel would be a "normal" bath towel size but for being a "large" it was a lot smaller than what I was thinking. It is long but it is very narrow. I'm only 5'4, 125lbs and I couldn't wrap this to go all the way around my waist... Returning and going to get the XL as it needs to be for both my boyfriend and I. And if I think it is small...then there is no way it is going to work for him. The quality of the towel does seem nice though. It is soft and thin, so I would definitely like to see it in action. It seems similar to most yoga towels to me. Definitely is lightweight which will be good for it intended use of backpacking. Price point is definitely good as well.

by fromFirst camp towel I wasn't sure what to expect from a camp towel. I had never used one before. I was surprised the towel sticks to you when you're trying to dry off. It's annoying, but again, I didn't know what to expect. It is handy to have while camping because it really does dry out quickly. But [$]? Really?

by fromDoes exactly what it should! I've used it backpacking, car camping, and at the gym. It does it's job perfectly, dries quickly, and looks nice. The price is great too!

by fromGood gym/camping/backpacking towel I had been using a ShamWow towel for pool/gym/camping/backpacking, but the texture is a bit rough. I picked up this large microfiber towel at REI on sale. Overall, it's exactly what I wanted and looks like it'll be a great portable quick-drying towel. However, be aware that the manufacturing process apparently uses a terrible dye. I had to wash the towel using no less than seven buckets of water (including two with detergent) and vigorous hand scrubbing to get the excess green dye out. The water turned dark green in all of the buckets except for the last two. I was not a happy camper after spending a half hour just getting the towel ready for it's first use.

by fromPurple bleeds color The purple version of this towel bled purple for the first 10 or so washes. That purple was picked up by other clothes that I was washing. I was doing all my wash by hand and so this was really easy to see. I found the little click close strap really convenient for drying on a clothesline--I didn't need to waste a clothes pin on my towel. It dried super quickly too! Don't know if the blue version bleeds color as well.

by fromnot luxurious - but does the job I use this at the gym. I don't want to deal with a heavy wet bath towel hanging off my gym bag, so this is a good alternative. It's not the plush comy terry that you can look forward to in your own home, and it's not big enough to wrap around an adult, but it will do the job of getting you dry. Which is all it needs to do.
