The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Jetboil Sumo Titanium Companion Cup - 1.8 Liter:
I've owned the Jetboil Sol Ti for over a year and have used it on several backpacking trips to cook my lunches and dinners. No complaints at all. It heats water very quickly and efficiently, it's super light and it was the perfect size for one or two people. I wanted to get the bigger companion cup to allow myself to cook 4-person freeze-dried meals when backpacking with groups of people.
I haven't used the new companion cup, yet, but I can say that the product seems to be very well designed. The cozy looks to be very well designed (it didn't pull off the cup even when I had it filled with tap water) and it perfectly fits the entire Jetboil Sol cooking system (including my original, smaller companion cup) completely inside it allowing me to conveniently take both companion cups on hiking trips, if needed.
Service and delivery comments:
The service I received during the course of the delivery of this product is really why I've taken the time to write this review. I ordered the Sumo Ti Companion Cup from the REI website and eagerly waited for the product to come. To this day, it has not. When I called REI customer service to report the problem I was absolutely AMAZED by the level of care and attention they gave to the situation. They asked that I check with my local post office to be sure the product wasn't lost somewhere in their office. After nothing turned up there I called REI back and they immediately sent out a replacement, free of charge. I just can't say enough about how easy my interaction with REI was, even in the face of the complete loss of the product. This experience (along with all the wonderful in-store experiences I've had) has made me an REI customer for life.
