Comments about Joby Gorillapod Micro 250 Camera Tripod:
This mini tripod is great, as long as it works with your camera. The tripod is small and doesn't really get in the way (as it is always attached to the camera).Returning because it blocks my usb port on my camera (Sony DSC-HX9V) and it isn't easy to take it on and off, [*].If it didn't block the usb port I would have kept it! (More of a camera issue than tripod one)

Comments about Joby Gorillapod Micro 250 Camera Tripod:
I've been searching for a product like this for a long time. Something compact, well designed, and adaptable. Fits perfectly on my old S90, and now my S100. I just bolt it onto the camera, and leave it on there permanently. Its a little heavy, but I would worry if it was lighter. It wears great, and looks the part.
When I travel I like to take along my Canon PowerShots S series cameras, and I like to take a lot of long exposure night shots. Without this mini tripod, this was almost impossible. This is great for group pictures anywhere as well. No need to grab a stranger to take your photo. Just unfold, set counter, and run behind your friends.

Comments about Joby Gorillapod Micro 250 Camera Tripod:
Bought this for my point and shoot as I am always looking for a tripod and never seem to have one handy. While it looked small in the pictures it is still too big for me to leave it on the camera and once I take it off I might as well carry a larger tripod. I liked how it folds but it is not much smaller than the one I have from Pedco. I also found the Tiltpod from Gomite as a much smaller alternative which really does fit in my pocket and is much quicker to set up. So all in all, it's an OK solution if you are looking for a tripod but there are better micro tripod solutions out there.
