      This long, ample-sized spoon is my favorite go-to utensil for around the kitchen, because the touch or feel in my hand and in my mouth is of a pleasant high-quality that isn't typical of plastic, (polycarbonate?). The heat-sink ability for hot soup tasting is remarkable. I have an earlier version that is a lighter, off-white, stone color that does carry a permanent, penetrable stain ... for my only complaint. I encouragingly endorse this out-of-the-norm accoutrement for the brazen chef or cook!
