I bought this pack from REI Outlet for a 5 week trip to Europe this summer. I thought it would be identical to the REI Flash 52 pack I tried on at the store, but alas, there was no bottom zip to allow access from the bottom. This was an essential for me. The pack is light, comfortable, and great for overnight backpacking and short trips. I returned it and bought the Flash 52 which I've used on a week long trip to Ontario and am very happy with.

This is the first pack that I've purchased, so I can't really compare the features to others. I can say that I was able to pack everything that I needed for a 2-night solo trip in warm weather. This pack is very adjustable, and although it took me a while, I was able to get it to a point that was comfortable carrying about 26 lbs.
