Bought it to replace wife's broken water bottle (another brand). She likes the insulation and the ease of use, but she did comment on how much less the bottle holds. This the result of the insulation space. We will be buying another for my use and would replace it if her's is lost.

My wife bought this water bottle to replace her other other camelbak water bottle that lasted almost two years. This one has the insulation which is great, she loves it, even our 1 yr old loves drinking from that bottle. The one HUGE draw back, it leaks, if it's not up right expect to have water all over your car, backpack, counter, floor wherever it may be. It's unfortunate because it is a great water bottle, and my wife always has it with her, but it does leak if your not careful with it.

I bought this bottle to replace a much-loved stainless steel vacuum bottle that broke. I needed a bottle for the gym and work that I could operate one-handed and was insulated - I won't drink water unless it's cold. This bottle is great - the insulation is decent, it holds a ton of ice, and I LOVE the bite straw top. Excellent usability and it doesn't spill if you tip it over. Very nice! My only complaint is that it doesn't insulate as well as a vacuum bottle would, but I'm willing to accept that tradeoff for better bottle/lid design. Note: the bottle is advertised as not sweating, but it will sweat a tiny bit if you fill it with ice, but it is a vast improvement over a standard bottle in that regard.

The quality of the plastic insulated Eddy is exceptional. The bite valve works flawlessly and has good flow. The insulation is ok, but it pales in comparison to the stainless Eddy. If insulation is a priority or you're going to keep this in a hot car, get the stainless Eddy. If you're always going to finish your drink quickly, the plastic insulated Eddy is lighter and has a higher capacity than the stainless model.

I have several of the original and new Eddy style bottles. This includes the original Stainless Steel bottle. The new Eddy style top is nice and seals better than the original. As for the insulation though I say poor. That is to say it does not keep liquids hot or cold long. Unlike the Stainess Steel version which does, this seeems to barely insulate and with cold liquids I'm still getting sweat on the bottle. I'd pass, get either a Stainless Steel version or th plain Eddy.

I asked for this bottle in Lavender, specifically, for Christmas. I love it. I use it everyday, take it to work, the gym & at home. It keeps my water insulated, even w/ice & NO sweating. Love the size, shape, color & that it's spill-proof! It's easy to drink from as well. I get compliments on it all the time & people ask me where I got it. I'd buy a green one too if they still sold that color in this particular bottle!
